Project Summary
Objective: Bring Bastille’s new album Give Me The Future into the metaverse as a lighthouse project that demonstrates the strength of WPP’s Unreal Engine and virtual production capabilities.
Overview: My team worked hand-in-hand with VMLY&R and Epic Games to develop a metaverse concert experience for the band, and achieve core milestones including:
Design and development of multiple cinematic UE5 environments
A fly-through virtual concert experience in VR, published to Quest Store
Virtual production shoot leveraging UE5 environments as live backdrop of music video
Motion-capture of Bastille fans using Azure Kinect
I was a key contributor on the experience design and technology teams, informing the overall approach for the Metaverse concert, fan experience, and technology use cases.
